What is hosting?

Hosting is when a provider, like Net Idea, sells web space on servers connected to the internet. With e-mail hosting, this plan allows for you to store, send and receive e-mail with your custom domain name through our servers.

Does e-mail hosting include the domain name?

Yes! A domain name is included in this plan. For instance you could theoretically pick "smithfamily.ca" for your domain name and then have your e-mail address set up to be "john@smithfamily.ca" and give other family members their own personalized e-mail addresses like yours.
